fdisk did you use to delete the partition? Both DOS and Linux have a
program called fdisk that do basically the same thing. But they are not
quite the same. You should always use the same fdisk to delete a partition
that was used to create it. I have heard of this problem occurring when
don't. You might try using the DOS fdisk and see if it sees
anything. If that doesn't work Partition Magic is suppose to handle this
sort of thing.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

it. Let me start at the beginning. I partitioned my hard drive,
and, like an idiot, formatted it in DOS. Well, of course, Linux didn't
like those partitions, so I needed to get rid of them and make new ones.
Easy, huh? So I used f-disk to delete the partitions. Now those
2.5 gigs on the partitions has disappeared along with the deleted
partitions. Anything questions? I've no idea how to correct what
I've done, if any of you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.</FONT></DIV>
