[NTLUG:Discuss] Burning Live CD

I presently run ubuntu with a kubutu desktop if that is relevant and I am looking to install package(s) that will allow me to burn live CD's. This will be a first for me and I have explored synaptic manager and see several that looks like what I need. Someone please direct me to the most user friendly and thanks.
