[NTLUG:Discuss] eMail Retrieval and Archival

I first started using email in 1994. Over the years I have used a number 
of clients, but managed to save the files. These include:

Mac AOL
Mac Netscape
Windows Eudora
BeOS Adam (anybody ever use this?)
Linux Netscape/Thunderbird.

Is there any application that a) can read this hodge podge of files and 
b) bring it all together in a single archive with all the attributes 
intact? Can it do things like remove duplicates?

Note: I have used Netscape or Thunderbird since 2000 so all of that mail 
is nicely collected in Thunderbird 2.x. It's the really old stuff that I 
would like to resurrect.
