Hello and welcome.

The first "real computer" I bought for myself was an Apple LCIII. I started
running Linux on it full time in 1997 - basicly as soon as the linux-m68k
kernel version was ported to that class of Macintosh computers. I actually
helped in that porting process in some minor ways.
My current desktop machine at home is a Macintosh G4 Dual 1 Ghz. It has been
running Linux since just a few hours after I got it home.

My distribution of choice is still Debian, at least partially due to the
multi-architecture nature the Debian project.

Make a point to introduce yourself at the meeting.
See you then.
