Hello,

After lurking for some time, I thought it was time I introduce myself
and say Hello to everyone.

I live in Plano, and I got my start in computers on an Apple //e and
have mainly been an 'Apple' person for most of my life. I got
interested a few years ago in Linux. My first distro was SUSE Linux
Pro 9.3, a boxed copy. Since then I've become very fond of FreeBSD,
and all things Red Hat. After trying numerous distros, I've settled
on Fedora as my desktop Linux. I also have a CentOS 5 server that I
have been teaching myself to administrate. I've become so fond of
Linux that I am currently pursuing the RHCE and would like to become
a Linux System Administrator.

Mike Palazzini told me about NTLUG, if you know him. He has attended
a few meetings and said you all seemed to be a nice group of people.
I have been meaning to attend a meeting myself for several months,
but something always comes up it seems. Anyway, just wanted to say
Hello, and I hope to make it to a meeting soon.

Take care,

Paul Lipps
