At ByteWorks[1], we refurbish donated computers and award them to
under-served youth who have completed our Earn-A-Computer program. In
refurbishing, we test hardware, back-up/restore data, image/clone
drives, and wipe data from drives using a variety of tools. Our main
workhorse is Knoppix[2], although we also use The Ultimate Boot CD[3],
Smart Boot Manager[4], and DBAN[5].
