If you are not wanting photo quality prints and you don't mind making a 
"large" initial investment, I would recommend a color laser.  Samsung 
has a model that can often be had for $200.  Laser printers generally 
don't have as much trouble getting clogged or dried out after long 
periods of unuse, as inkjets do.
