Right.  It's certainly kludgey, but judging by your output, it works OK. ;-)

I have to say, your VPN layout is kind of oddball, and so are your route
tables.  I'm still not even sure what node is detecting the "better
route"--but something is.  How exactly does "firewall server" allow VPN
clients to access "OpenVPN server"?  Simple port forwarding, or something
more complex?
