[NTLUG:Discuss] Suse and Remote Printing Stairsteps

I'm running Suse 7.3 on both a SPARC and an Intel platform and using RedHat 
7.2 as a print server with an HP LaserJet 5P.  Printing text from other Red 
Hat installs, as well as Solaris, print fine.  However, when I print a text 
file from either Suse machine, I get the proverbial stairstep effect.  Any 
ideas what I should be looking for?
