It's a pricey proposition, but take a look at
http://suned.sun.com/US/catalog/web.html for both XML and Perl classes. 
You could most likely take a Perl class at a community college and get
the same out of it at a substantially lower price.

Sun has a training center on the Dallas Tollway.
