[NTLUG:Discuss] IBM Laptop

I've got a IBM 760E laptop with 56mb Ram, 2.5 gig hard drive and Addonics pocket CD-ROM connected via pcmcia, I also have a 3com 3c589c PC card and Megahertz Xj2560 modem I'd like to use. I'm currently running M$ 98 with no problems.  Can anyone recommend a good distribution (if at all possible) for this dinosaur?  I currently have a copy of RH 6.1 and Suse 6.3 on hand but am reluctant to give it a whirl just yet.  Any pointers or help would be greatly appreciated.
