[NTLUG:Discuss] Is this a permissions problem???

I have a directory that I copied a bunch of html docs off of a cd to but I
can't access this directory from my web server..
The directory is in a domain directory I have on the machine and I can
access the top level directory but not the sub directory I made.
I keep getting the same 403 error...
btw, I even changed the permissions of the problem directory to 777..
what am I doing wrong??
