Kodak used to use a prioprietory format.  I'm not sure what they are doing
now.  I have one, I haven't used it on the Linux machine.  I'll try to
remember to.  It worked fine under OS/2 back when I was running that.
My husband just had Walmart put some pictures on CD-Rom.  It came with a
custom version of Microsoft Picture It! Express and I believe the photos
were all in jpeg format.
