NTLUG is proud to announce the nominees for NTLUG Board for 2008. We are electing a full slate of 7 board members with 2 x 1 year, 2 x 2 year and 3 x 3 year term positions. Election of the new board will take place at the March 15, 2008 meeting at 11 am. At NTLUG we have an elected board, officer's are appointed by the board. The board nominees are: Chris Cox Darth Chris, self appointed Emperor of NTLUG, former name: President Rick Cook Padawan Learner, aka Vice President J. Jentink Padawan Learner, aka Treasurer Dennis Rice Youngling Apprentice, aka Beginner's Group Trainer Patrick Michaud Ralph Green Padawan Learner, another former board member Ed Leach Leroy Tennison William Jones Youngling Apprentice, aka Beginner's Group Trainer Cory Claftin* * Note: Cory has withdrawn his nomination, but we look forward to seeing him next election time!! The Emperor has decided that the terms will be decided upon by the elected members (they can dual with light sabers to determine who gets to server what length of term). The comments out to the side of some of the nominees were added by your Emperor... so.. they AREN'T stupid and there is NOTHING wrong with them.... ok?? :-) If there are complaints, I can think of something "clever" for the other nominees. |
